This year the Suzuki Nine Knights MTB also featured a Short Film Competition, where selected filmers created a short clip documenting the action packed week of freeride mountain biking on Mottolino Fun Mountain, Livigno. Judged by their peers at the award night, it was the all-Swede team, lead by filmer Simon Duse, who came out on top as the winner of the team battle taking the coveted “Best Film” title. “I really liked the team format, it made the whole event so personal and created a great atmosphere!”, commented the stoked Duse, who won himself a special edition Giant bike.

Teaming up to produce photos and a short clip, the invited freeride mountain bikers were on a quest at the Suzuki Nine Knights MTB 2014 in Livigno, Italy. In addition to heli, sunset and sunrise shoots, riders explored the backcountry and freeride trails on Mottolino Fun Mountain. Strong winds during the Contest Day led to it being called off, however, the same evening saw a stunning sunset session, ending the week on a high.
