Some of the world’s best freeriders have arrived at the mountainbike freeride paradise in Livigno, Italy, while the building crew did the last fine-tuning on the course.
Upon first sight the athletes were highly impressed by the truly unique set-up at Mottolino Fun Mountain and eagerly explored every angle of it right away.
Only two more days until the first Italian edition of the Nine Knights MTB will kick off in Livigno at the Mottolino Fun Mountain. A dedicated crew around event’s host and course designer Andi Wittmann, as well as the Austrian pro rider Andi Brewi have been working for more than five weeks to create a set up that can inspire mountain bike fans all over the planet.

The course building runs at full speed and the list of riders and photographers is complete. With over 20 video submissions, the Online Video Qualification was the fiercest yet and the standard of tricks has been truly amazing. From amongst all the worthy entrants the judges selected Tobi Wrobel (GER) and Adrian Tell (NOR) to come to Livigno and join up with the assembled Nine Knights riders. The winner of the Killer Loop Photo Qualification is Jan Kasl from the Czech Republic, who is going to be able to showcase his talents with the Nine Knights.
All submissions of the “Wanna be a Knight?” online video qualification are in. A big shout out to all 23 competing athletes who submitted their videos. This means that by next week the starting list for the 2013 edition of the event will be complete. We got some amazing videos and can’t wait for the judges’ decision. The winners, who will join the fabled Nine Knights in Livigno, will be announced next week.

August 10th was the deadline for submissions of this year’s Killer Loop photo contest. We are happy to announce that 45 action sport photographers submitted their best shots in the various categories which made the contest a great success. We thank all participants for their participation and great photos.
The winner who will enter the Nine Knights 2013 photo contest will be announced by the end of this week.
